Our Facilities
AEA Burong has settled in to the beautiful Macedon Ranges and the facilities will soon be second to none. The horses' safety and well-being are our primary concern, and our physical facilities and daily routines are built around this promise. The exquisite property is 45 acres with 3 large dams to make it more or less drought proof and several timber fenced paddocks with 10 small day yards to give the stabled horses some excercise and fresh air. We have a horse walker and a beautifully located 20 x 60 outdoor arena. The solarium will be reinstated before next winter to the horses have the best care after their daily work out. Future plans are for an indoor arena (awaiting permit) and improvements in the existing breeding facilities
We are so fortunate in Australia to have so much space and fresh air available. With 45acres, we make sure that the horses benefit from our wonderful environment. Each horse also has time in an individual day yard each day, weather permitting. This freedom of movement and exercise we believe contributes to a strong hoof mechanism, so vital in performance horses. Some outdoor yards are specifically designed for stallions, and all yards feature post and rail fencing.
Dirk,is also available to help you with the training and education of your horse and give private lessons. Please contact us to book.
