Dirk and the team at AEA Burong have been breeding winning performance horses since the 1980s. Starting out with a wonderful stallion, Granada, Dirk has expanded to work with stallions both at stud and using frozen semen. Dirk was one of the first in Australia to import frozen semen from European champions, broadening the gene pool available to Australian breeders, and helping to take great leaps forward in breeding both warmbloods and thoroughbreds.

We breed the ligher, more elegant and atletic warmblood sport horse. AEA Burong bred and trained horses ahve been competing succesfully around Australia, Asia and the UK for more than 20 years. Progeny from our stallions are successful in all disciplines: dressage, show jumping and eventing. We would be delighted to discuss your aims, so that we can advise which stallion to breed your mare to.
